Transfer
Auto Transfer This mode attempts to determine the correct file type -- text or binary -- and transfer it appropriately.
Binary Transfer The binary mode is intended for transfering files other than text (e.g pictures, graphics, sounds).
Text (Ascii) Transfer The text mode is intended for transfering text. It is also referred to as an Ascii transfer mode.

Proxy
Secure FTP currently supports the Socks v4 proxy server. A proxy server, in this case, is intended to provide a gateway through a firewall.

Theme
Secure FTP allows for simple themes. You can either stick with some default flavors, or choose your own. Have fun.

Session Log
The session log is a temporary record of every server transaction and its response. To log will be automatically cleared on exit.
